I have a special brother, who writes the most inspiring letters to me, and am always blessed and tickled to hear from him. See, am a single mom, and as a single mom I really don’t get much time to socialize, or even meet up with friends or make new friends. Having a brother, like the one I have, who writes such inspiring letters to me, means a pierce of heaven just fell on my lap. I fellowship with him, I trust him and he inspires my heart to keep going, keep hoping and keep loving. He is a pierce of hope that God gifted my life with. Like am sure God has in your life, in one way or another. Just recently he wrote again, and as always, I could not wait to quench my thirst with his loving words.
He writes -
Hello my sister
Allow me to share this beautiful coming of Jesus Christ
Jesus is coming soon! Soon we will see in the Eastern sky a small, dark cloud half the size of man’s fist. It will get larger and larger and brighter and brighter. And there seated in the middle of millions of Angels will be the one who we have been waiting for; Not the humble broken Lamb, not the ministering High Priest, but the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Jesus Christ our Redeemer! We will look up and say, “This is the God we have waited for.” Christ will look down and say, “Well done good and faithful servants. Enter into the joy of your Lord,” And we will rise to meet the Lord in the air to go home to be with Him FOREVER.…the beautiful end of the Advent Journey!
It is my prayer my Dear sister that we accept Christ’s marvelous grace in our life. “Go forward” by renewing your commitment to Him and proclaiming God’s grace and three angels messages.
My response back goes something like this -
Hi my brotherĀ -
Praise the Lord for what He has done, and for what He continues to do for us. We indeed serve a mighty mighty God. I thank Him everyday for His loving kindness and His mercies to us.
My brother, the Lord has continued to amaze us with His kind words and favors upon our life. We continue to possess that which the Lord promised us, and He has been faithful in bringing those blessings to pass with the littlest effort on our part. We seek to serve Him more and more. To know more about His mysterious ways, and to follow willingly where He calls us.
And as I write, in my thoughts, these words come to mind. And although I don’t capture them in my letter, I think them to be so powerful, and find myself clinging to them as I write.
Brother, the Lord is truly faithful in all His ways. There is nothing that He will not do for those who truly love Him. From the wretchedness of my life, He has shown me signs and wonders. He has lifted me up in places where I never imagined.
In all these, even during days when we weren’t as faithful as we should to Him, His mercies He has continued to pour. We have seen Him, and seen Him in ways that I can’t dare put to words. How can we ever say – THANK YOU enough for everything He has done for us?
The Lord my brother, is truly not man that He should lie. What He said He will do, and what He does will be seen. May we abandon all our ways, to seek His ways. And may He fill us with the understanding and peace needed to serve Him like Paul did. I pray for such wisdom, as to be able to understand His mysterious ways, and as to serve Him with purpose. I pray the same for you. And that one day dear brother, we will hear these words – “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
And in concluding my letterĀ I say this -
My the Lord continue to keep you safe. May He watch over you and bless the works of your hand. And as your wedding day approaches (which was this past weekend) may He shower you both, with His wisdom. And may He show up on your special day and bless this Holy matrimony. I pray only the goodness of the Lord over you and both your futures. May the Lord reveal the plans he has for both of you.
In Jesus might name – Amen
We serve a mighty mighty BIG God!!!
LOVELY & FAITHFUL FATHER WE LOVE YOU OH SO MUCH!!!
Just as I am, One day at a time
